CRITICAL AND CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS

This module exposes students to theories of thinking and problem solving and to develop their critical and creative thinking abilities via a various range of activities that are able to simulate in this world of reality. This module also encourages students to broaden their ideas and thought processes and techniques which are unique but related to critical and creative thinking strategies.

ASSIGNMENT 1

"Something I Am"

In this assignment, we are required to select any one prompt/statement from Tables A, B and C. We are required to imagine and visualize what they are according to our own interpretation. Our visualization can be in the form of sketches, drawings, paintings, collages, illustrations, mind mapping, visual notes, and/or etc.

ASSIGNMENT 2

"Household Waste Management"

In this assignment, it is conducted in groups. There are 6 of us. We are required to develop an action plan and to present a report in response to your assigned topic. The outcome shall be presented on critical and creative strategies and approach on how to reach out to your target audience via available online platforms. Our group must select 1 organizational body not matter government or non-government to work with local or international.

ASSIGNMENT 3

"Play and Act of Play"

In this assignment, we are required to design a toy according to our specific assigned body parts. The toys we designed should be consist of 3 categories of materials. They are, recycled materials, found objects, and daily objects. The toy must be manually operated. The process must be based on the design thinking task which is empathy, define, ideation prototype and presentation. This is my journey.
